Effect of coir fiber and inorganic filler hybridization on Innegra fiber-reinforced epoxy polymer composites: physical and mechanical properties

The present investigation compares the results of different fillers in terms physical, mechanical, and thermal characteristics epoxy polymers. These hybrid composites were produced using a mechanical stirring-assisted wet lay-up method with coir microparticles, fly ash, titanium carbide (TiC) nanoparticles, Innegra fabrics by stirring rod. tensile, flexural, interlaminar shear fabricated determined universal testing machine. Reinforcement ash TiC nanoparticles offers most remarkable improvement impact strength, at approximately 2.84, 1.65, 9.19 times compared pure polymer. Differential scanning calorimetry thermogravimetric analysis showed that had enhanced stability. homogeneity filler dispersion polymer was observed electron microscopy.
